My name is Russ and my view on therapy is that reaching out for support takes strength and courage, pain shared is pain lessened and that people hold the power to recover from past and present issues. I specialize in helping those who have a general feeling of life not being what they would like it to be. I am actively engaged in the therapeutic process, offering direct feedback and suggestions for implementing lifestyle changes. I have had training and experience in working through addiction/alcoholism, depression/anxiety, trauma and relationship issues in an individual, couple or family counseling setting. As an eclectic therapist, I like to utilize multiple types of therapy in my sessions including Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution Focused Brief (SFBT) and Person-Centered Therapies. My goal is to help better equip my clients with the skills, clarity, and self-awareness by creating a calm, inviting atmosphere where a deep sense of trust can develop in order to better experience life with satisfaction and fulfillment.
