Office Directions

People seek out a counselor for a number of different reasons.

  • You are hoping to resolve a failing marriage or partnership.
  • Healing for past wounds of childhood abuse or other wrongs.
  • You or someone you love are struggling with addictions.
  • Want to communicate better in the workplace.
We'll be able to help you out.

Is this going to work?

The answer is YES, counseling will work. Seeing a professional to help with your problems can lessen the time spent upset or feeling out of control.

How long will this take?

Each counseling session is 45-60 minutes. The duration of counseling is typically 10-12 sessions. 80% of people that go to a counselor report feeling significantly better and hopeful after just the first session.

Is my situation right for counseling?

Every person is different and every situation is different. Is yours right for counseling will be something that we explore in the first session. There is no list of "problems" or a master check list to see if you can continue with counseling. If we both feel that counseling will benefit you, then we will discuss a plan and set goals. If we don't think you need further counseling, our first session can be our last. That will be your choice.
