Does something have you down? Perhaps you feel like you’ve been knocked sideways, or maybe things just don’t feel right. Life and its many changes can leave us uncertain about what to do next, that’s where counseling can step in. Let me help provide you with tools to overcome the challenges and obstacles in your life. You deserve to be loved and supported, and together, we will uncover new pathways to a life of happiness.
As a counselor I used a multifaceted person-centered approach, applying an eclectic style of techniques and methods to address each individual client’s needs. Everyone is different and what works for one person might not work for another, and that’s okay! Sometimes we just need to be heard by someone who doesn’t have their own personal stakes in our lives. Whether you’re battling with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, substance abuse, or an imminent life changing decision to make, allow me to wade through these waters with you.
I have been working in the field of mental health for the last eight years, starting in direct support positions for individuals with developmental disabilities, and later on to support coordination and case management roles. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Missouri-St. Louis, followed by a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri. I am a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor under the supervision of LPC-S Jamie Morgan.
